Penny! AKA: Hot Mama!

Hey everyone!

Saturday night I had the pleasure to work with Penny. She was basically going to a animal print inspired birthday party, she brought in a couple pictures and I basically re-created this look on her! Everyone loved it, and most of all so did she! It didn't take that much time either.

What was used: All MAC Products:
Spiked Eyebrow Pencil
Dazzlelight Eyeshadow (eyebrow highlight)
Swish Eyeshadow (pink eyeshadow from eye to temples)
Electra Eyeshadow (silver sparkle in cheetah print)
Magenta Pigment (filled in cheetah print with)
On the Hunt Superslick Liquid Eyeliner (I made little c's to do the cheetah print)
Smoulder Eye Khol
Prolongwear Foundation NC40
Prolongwear Concealer NC35
Mineralize Skinfinish Medium Dark
Ambering Rose Blush
Bountiful Plushglass

I had so much fun doing this!

What do ORANGE concealers do???

Hey everyone!

Now I know everyone out there has at least seen/explored colored concealers, am I right?? I've played around with blues, pinks, lavenders, even yellows...but this morning I was looking online at NYX's makeup website, and they just came out with an orange one! Now secretly in my head I was thinking what in the world orange concealer, who is that for? A member of the Jersey Shore cast or an Oompa Loompa? Yeah whatever, but the more I researched it the more it made sense.

Think about back to your art class whenever you had color theory, or using that little color wheel thingy. Orange conceals anything that has the color of blue, or an ash color, and for me that's amazing! Orange concealers can work great for women or men with an olive skin tone. It also helps if you're trying to cover skin pigmentation, freckles, age spots, tattoos and blue veins.

So you know I definitely put in an order! I can't wait to try this stuff out...I will definitely let you guys know how it worked out!
